Alain Burguet Set: The Grand Crus (2 btls)

Two of the main grand cru wines in the Alain Burguet portfolio. The first release of the Corton Charlemagne, a single barrel of grand cru white burgundy, filled with a palate soaking amount of yellow fruit that penetrates deep into the finish. The Echezeaux holds its own against the top bottlings of this AOC with intense sweet red fruit that runs through your tastebuds and nose. Very limited number of these available. 

Two limited cuvées from 2023 bring together two Grand Crus . Corton Charlemagne is fermented and aged in a single new barrel without lees stirring, producing a concentrated white Burgundy intended for the cellar. Échezeaux comes from approximately 75 year old vines, combining depth and structure with a refined texture. For collectors looking beyond Burguet’s village wines, this two bottle selection offers a closer look at its small parcels and most limited production (combined under 3 barrels total)
