2023 Domaine de la Commaraine Commaraine Monopole Pommard 1er

This historic walled monopole occupies the northern side of Pommard and rests on clay limestone soils colored red by iron oxide. The wine shows a refined side of Pommard, with aromatic depth, a silky palate, fine tannins and a long, fresh finish. The vineyard it split into eight different plots for genetics and blended per the balance of each plots strengths.
